 Welcome

Thank you for the interest in the Glenhope Dads' Club.  We hope that you find our involvement with your school to be of great benefit to our children and our community.  My job is made easy by the great group of dads that we have in the Dads' Club.   Each event has enough volunteers that no one person has to work too hard, especially me! And I cannot say enough about the staff at Glenhope, awesome pretty much sums it up.

As much as our school and children benefit from involvement, we find that the dads get some pretty good benefits from being a part of this club as well. I have personally made some good, lasting friendships as a direct result of the Dads' Club.  Events like the Sock Hop and building a Christmas Float gives each dad an opportunity to work with other dads and to get to know them well.

Our Mission is simple: To support Glenhope Elementary and its staff in any way possible and make it a great environment for our kids.

The Dads' Club raises money throughout the year by hosting events. The money we raise goes towards things like: Scholarships for college bound seniors who attended Glenhope Elementary

  • School supplies for children when needed
  • Sponsoring children on field trips that they may otherwise be unable to attend
  • Paying to have a decayed tooth removed for a child with no other resource

Besides the money we raise, we also help out by doing various services around the school:

  • Periodically opening car doors and greeting the children in the morning during student drop-off
  • Organizing and staffing fund raising events, such as the annual Sock Hop and Spaghetti Dinner
  • Laying legacy bricks along our walkway
  • Building a school float for the annual Grapevine Christmas Parade
  • Cooking hotdogs for school registration events

The Dads' Club is a great way to meet other dads, help out around our school, and make our community a better place.
